Nokia e5 camera sound patch

Regardless of the number of messages, I think message notification is a very basic feature which ought to be problem-free at this point I have bought my Nokia E5, 2 days back.

Even after deleting all the messages from Inbox,sent folder, my folder it is showing message alert, i mean message notification icon on the screen. I have not yet configured my email account. I also have the E5 second replacement now!! I have deleted all messages, tried all profiles but simply can't get a message notification on the screen or an alert tone.
