To scroll left and right, or up and down, touch and drag your finger across the screen in the direction you want to scroll, and then stop before lifting. Personalizing your TouchSmart software When the HP TouchSmart software is opened, you see large and small tiles which are shortcuts to other TouchSmart features and various software programs and files.

The large tiles in the top row are running and are active. The small tiles in the bottom row are not running. Use the upper, large tile area for software programs you use the most often.

Use the lower, small tile area to store the rest of your program shortcuts. If you have several programs open, you can scroll to see and interact with all of them in the TouchSmart Homepage view.

Moving tiles To move a tile to the bottom row, drag straight down. If you drag at an angle, the tiles in the top roll scroll. When you are dragging a tile, you can see the icon and a blue line where the icon will be placed. If you are playing music, it continues to play, even when you drag it to the bottom row. To change the order of the top tiles, move the tile to the bottom row, scroll the top row to the location where you want the tile to go, and then drag it there.

Select an action to perform for each Quick Launch button by clicking the arrow to the right of the name of each action, select an action from the pop-up menu, click Apply , and then OK. Configuring the presentation settings for the Presentation action If you chose the Presentation action for one of your Quick Launch buttons, you will need to configure the presentation settings.

Configuring the presentation settings involves selecting the program, file, or web site that you want to open when you press the applicable Quick Launch button and configuring the display settings.
