Wise Auto Shutdown. It makes your power management much easier and more convenient. Schedule The Tasks At Any Time You Want With Wise Auto Shutdown, you can schedule the task to be executed daily, at an exact time, on a certain date and time or after an amount of time you set manually passes from the moment when the task is set active.

You can enable reminders so you will be notified 5 minutes before it executes the task. If you have unfinished business by then, you can delay the task by 10 minutes or up to 4 hours. There are no menus, no complicated options or dialog boxes. It is clearly divided into two panels. You can easily select which task you want to perform on the left and specify a time when you want that task to be executed on the right, then start the task.

The following screen is the Action screen. Double-click the Task Name if you need to work with the settings. A window pops up telling us that Windows will shut down in less than a minute.

You can click on the Close button but that will just close that window and Windows itself will continue to shut down. It lists the choices of how you want to run the shutdown.

There you have it. Now you can automatically shutdown your Vista computer. Cool tips man! I have a habit of putting the music on in my pc until I get to sleep, this would definitely help me shutdown my computer without me getting up from bed.

If I put the task of auto shutting down in the list for a particular time , and if accidentally at that time I happen to be working on my pc then will it prompt me to postponed the task or it will just proceed to shutdown?

What a great way to automatically shut down your pc when you want to. Seems like this would be on the Windows 7 menu system somewhere. I would like to schedule the same task, but only to sleep or hibernate my PC, could someone please help me with this?

How do you Save Your programs automatically? To Prevent losing data by using shutdown the same way hibernate works. You can click on the Close button but that will just close that window and Windows itself will continue to shut down! Here is simple steps to simply shutdown your computer after a specified time!!

Tried doing this thro Task Scheduler but it wouldn't work. My PC's my TV too and I sometimes fall asleep watching so I can set this up to happen at 2ish in the morning, then when my mains auto switch turns off at the PC will already be shut down. Thank you. Reply 10 years ago on Introduction.
