Sorry to dig this thread up again, but if your computer is assigned to a domain, and you log on locally as an admin, I had the same problems. When I removed the compter from the domain to a local workgroup, I had no issues. Well, this all seems to have halted in mid-october and I have the same problem as you in mid-november. I use Zone Alarm security suite and have turned off AV and anti-spyware and still fail on download.
