A recently installed program has disabled fast user switching

Thanks in advance Craig. Boomslang , Feb 6, Uninstall the fingerprint software and fast user switching will work. However it is not worth it IMO. Why is FUS so important anyways? With the second option, Manually log on to OmniPass at startup , OmniPass will prompt you to login once you have logged on to Windows.

With the third option, Do not log on to OmniPass at startup , OmniPass will not prompt for a user to be logged on. This feature is referred as Strong Logon Security. This is a Windows XP limitation.

Once you have enabled Strong Logon Authentication you have to reboot the system for the setting to take effect. Once this is done the fingerprint reader or other security device can no longer be made as a "Required" device for login to the PC.

This limitation is specific to Windows XP only. Both Windows and Windows Vista can natively permit OmniPass to require authentication with an enrolled device; therefore neither operating system has the option to Enable Strong Logon Security. Any device enrolled into OmniPass can then be used to switch between Windows user sessions. If you require further assistance please contact your Motion Service Provider.
