Start the Tequila launcher via the tequila. This should open a window asking you for the install path. This will let it see you have all the games files and all the score files homecoming now due to server migration. Make sure "Homecoming" is highlighted in the Tequila launcher and hit play. Didn't I read something that said it's a bad idea to use a folder with spaces in the name? Or is that just for binds maybe?

Also, I found that the game is quite portable in that so long as the paths stay the same you can literally copy the COX folder onto another location and play as if nothing changed. Mind you, if the rez or basic hardware is different, then you'll likely have to change some UI settings.

Note your files should all be in the same place, namely in the COX folder, you have all the game files, all the tequila files etc Homecoming Servers LLC will probably need to put that as an item the next time donations open up, just to get Norton and other AVs to cut it out.

It likely a false positive. The update then creates a homecoming. It worked fine. I then reinstalled and turned off all of the security functions. Email worked still. I turned them on one at a time, testing the email connection after each one. Once enabled, it blocked the email server connection and would not allow it after even if disabled again.

Apparently it changes a Windows setting that doesn't revert back. Another uninstall cleared it. My email service uses SSL encryption. Autoprotect does not like that. The problem now seems to be fixed for most Win 7 users, but Malwarebytes employee LiquidTension is asking anyone still having issues after updating to v3.

Some of these affected Win 7 systems were found to have third-party backup software like Macrium, Acronis, etc. It's always possible that resource-intensive background tasks run by Norton e. Have you checked to see if Fast Startup is disabled? After major updates of Windows 8.

Just ran it a few days ago. Had Component package version 1. Yet when I did the Settings Application Application Updates and click the Install Application Updates it appears to have downloaded and installed that update; now Cpv 1.

I will see if that makes the issue go away. So easier to leave it on for now and only do the Shut Down weekly. Even if these specific issues with Norton are not present, it just does not load exactly as it did before December.

Most notably is the Toolbar Task Bar is lacking color scheme on it. When that color is missing is usually when there are these other issues. A couple of days ago I got a notification of Adobe Update, which downloaded and upon install it hung. Third logged instance of Adobe update with same exact release number, so that might also be a factor now that I know the Adobe update hangs and has triggered and subsequently caused the issue to "your pc is not protected by sonar advanced protection" message to reappear.

However it never seemed to complete, so I left it again to run for several hours and it still would not complete after three attempts Full Shut Down, power off Power Supply, and a Start each time.

One thing to watch with Adobe updates is that you look for any bundled software offers. Be sure you uncheck any suggested add ons, and only download and install the Adobe update. Don't expect that problem to go away.
